Quality Control & Inspection Process for Silicone Sheets and Silicone Hoses
At our manufacturing facility, quality control is an integral part of every stage of silicone sheet and silicone hose production. From raw material selection to final shipment, we implement a strict and systematic quality monitoring process to ensure stable performance, consistent dimensions, and long-term reliability of every product.
1.Raw Material Inspection
All silicone rubber materials are carefully sourced from qualified suppliers. Incoming raw materials are inspected for purity, hardness range, color consistency, and compliance with required standards such as FDA, RoHS, or REACH where applicable. Only approved materials are released into production to ensure product safety and durability from the very beginning.
2.Mixing & Compounding Control
During the compounding stage, silicone rubber is mixed with reinforcing agents, pigments, and additives using precision-controlled mixers. Mixing time, temperature, and formulation ratios are strictly monitored to guarantee uniform dispersion, stable physical properties, and consistent color across batches.
3. Production Process Monitoring
For silicone sheets, calendering, extrusion, or compression molding processes are closely controlled to maintain accurate thickness, smooth surface finish, and uniform density.
For silicone hoses, extrusion, reinforcement layering (polyester or wire), and vulcanization are monitored in real time to ensure correct inner diameter, wall thickness, pressure resistance, and flexibility.
Advanced production equipment and automated control systems are used to minimize human error and improve repeatability.
4. In-Process Quality Inspection
During production, samples are taken regularly for inspection. Key parameters include:
Thickness and dimensional tolerance
Shore hardness
Tensile strength and elongation
Surface appearance and defect check
Any deviation is immediately corrected to prevent non-conforming products from continuing to the next stage.
5. Final Product Testing
Before packaging, finished silicone sheets and hoses undergo final inspection. Depending on application requirements, testing may include:
Pressure and burst testing (for hoses)
Heat resistance and aging tests
Tear strength and compression set
Visual and surface quality inspection
Only products that fully meet specification requirements are approved for shipment.
6. Traceability & Continuous Improvement
Each production batch is traceable, allowing full quality tracking and continuous process improvement. Our quality control system ensures stable quality, reliable performance, and consistent supply for customers worldwide.
Through strict quality monitoring and advanced manufacturing equipment, we are committed to delivering high-performance silicone sheets and silicone hoses that meet industrial, automotive, food-grade, and custom application needs.
